Origami workshop for children from Drahelčice took place in the background of Kafe Pohoda last Thursday! The little participants were enthusiastically immersed in the fascinating world of the Japanese art of paper folding.
We started simple – from basic techniques to more complex projects. The children first practiced on plain paper before confidently getting down to creating with beautiful coloured sheets. They worked their way from cute little boats to the lovely butterflies that now decorate their rooms.
Each little artist took home not only their masterpiece, but also a set of instructions for further creation. And what would a workshop be without a sweet spot? Ice cream and juice came in handy after the creative process.
