The ceremonial groundbreaking for the Drahelčice road bypass took place on September 18, 2025. The new bypass will divert transit traffic away from the town and will also connect to the new State Security Printing Works facility, which will bring new jobs and develop local infrastructure. The new road will be approximately 1,1 km long, and if everything goes according to plan, construction will be completed within 12 months, i.e., in the fall of next year.
